AGM & Open House
This year we are running the AGM a little different, in the hopes that we can dedicate some time for two-way communication with members. We will, as always, have a formal presentation involving some highlights from the year, which will include our efforts during the flood, digital growth, and financial performance. However, after the formal presentation, we will be running an “open house” style meeting on the potential merger that our Board of Directors has been discussing with regional peers for close to two years now. This open house is essentially the first step in a long series of communications and conversations that we will be looking to have with members about the potential merger. To be clear – no merger can happen without member approval, by way of membership vote. The hope of this open house is to encourage as many members as possible to engage in a conversation sharing their questions and voicing their opinions.
The gfcu Directors are ready to listen and answer questions, and we really hope that you will take the time to attend on April 16th. No RSVP is required, you can simply arrive between 7:00 and 7:30pm that Tuesday, as the meeting will begin promptly at 7:30. There will also be snacks and coffee available.
